Her first album “YolIar’ was produced by Sarp Ozdemiroglu and it was released in the year 1997.
In this Album she gained major recognition through her hit song “Sabir” and began to attract attention on her artistic career.
In the year 2000, Goksel made very clear that she has come to a new stage in her musical career both as a composer and a singer through her album “Korebe” that was produced by Alper Erinc.
After the release of this album, the song Depresyondayim attracted major attention from everyone due to the interesting lyrics along with its inspiring melody. According to many music journalists and criticizers, this album of Goksel was the album of the year and the hit song that was written solely by Goksel was also a major candidate for the song of the year. After a two year brake, Goksel came back together with her fans in 2003 through releasing her album “Soz ver”. During the same year, she sang the song “Karsi Kiyiya” by the Greek band “Omega Vibes” and wrote Turkish lyrics for that song. She also performed at a concert with “Omega Vibes”. In 2005, Goksel reunited with her fans through her fourth album “Arka Bahcem” that was produced by Alper Erinc. Writing both the lyrics and music for the 10 songs in the album, she came back together with her listeners through the release song “Karar Verdim”. After releasing her Album “Ay’da Yurudum” in 2007, she is on top of the agenda through a very special project. In May 2009 Goksel’s new album “Mektubumu buldunmu” found its spot on the music counters. The songs within the album have been devoted to its original versions and through its genius arrangements; she brought a new highlight to classic songs of the time. Through the album “Hayat Ruya Gibi” that was released in 2010, Goksel continues to sing the unforgettable songs of the 70’s and takes you on a journey to the nostalgic past. |
